シロハラは冬に飛来するツグミの仲間です。

ツグミの仲間といえば

大きさも、体長21~29cmほどでほぼ同じぐらいの大きさといえます。

それにしても、ツグミ類の名前はどれも雑につけられている印象（笑）
冬には囀らなくなるから【ツグミ】、腹が白いから【シロハラ】、赤いと【アカハラ】
そして、黒い【クロツグミ】にトラ模様の【トラツグミ】、最後に、眉毛の白い【マミジロ（眉白）】

どれも大きさやフォルムが似ているからでしょうか？すごく直感的な名前のついているツグミブラザーズです。
